But, you’re not really sure
With pressure from the kids
- You have to be mature


Please don’t cave in
you must be brave
Or another throwaway puppy
Will be dumped on the R.S.P.C.A


Yes, they look gorgeous 
Fluffy and cute 🥰 
but they also need feeding
And they do tend to poop 💩 


They’re a commitment for
at least 15 to 20 Odd years
If you haven’t had experience 
It will all end in tears


To love them unconditionally 
When they wee on the floor
Your life will be so different 
Than it was ever before


You really need to be strong
And think this through
The poor animal has feelings
and will probably love you


Some of us have grown up 
With so much love for our pets
We know the care they require
and expensive trips to the vets


So, PLEASE if not committed 
and haven’t thought it through
they don’t come with batteries 
maybe a puppy just isn’t for you?
