We’ve lived this year in a confusing state
never knowing our fate to date
Still don’t know the day of the week
Now on my 2nd tin of quality street 


A roaring fire a contented dog snoring
Lights softly glowing snow gently falling 
A glass of creamy baileys with ice
Cant think of anything else as nice


Me with me ranting opinions and moaning
Penning my weird and wonderful poems
Thank you for your comments - I’ve had a blast
Futuristic predictions, reminiscing the past


I’ve written some with my heart on my sleeve 
Some loved ones this year had to leave
Some special people Marj June and John
lights went out which once brightly shone ✨


Life isn’t certain it changes it’s path
So live for today - love life and laugh 😹
