Why do we ever get pets?

They are very much our family

You gave your heart and soul to them
It’s nothing you’ve done wrong


They’ve had the best life ever
You were the perfect mum
It’s painful now and you will think
‘’I’ll never get another one’’


It’s sad because there are others
Who would love a home like yours
In time you’ll relent and welcome
the patter of tiny paws 🐾 💔
