It’s lovely seeing the blossom 
and colourful flowers in bloom
loving the tulips and daffodils 🌼 
but....they die off too soon 😔

that clean fresh smell of spring
everything looking new
that familiar hum of the mower
as the first cut’s overdue

It’s still clinging on to winter
It hasn’t yet made up its mind
we think we’re in for better days
with warm and sunny climes 

So.. wear your clothes in layers
then you’ll always be prepared 
don’t forget your waterproofs
until summer’s officially declared

The weather is so changeable 
It keeps you on your toes
the forecast is just a prediction
