Wishing everyone on Facebook 
a very happy new year
though uncertainty as to what to expect
we'll just have to play it by ear

We always think a brand new year
will be better than the last
though if the truth was known
It hasn't in the past

We're due for some luck- surely?
it's been such testing times
the world's no longer a stable place
whilst we wait for Big Bens chimes

Let's hope we can ride the waves
In the choppy waters ahead 
and hopefully come out stronger
in calmer seas instead

Would love to have a crystal ball
so only the best is seen 
Perhaps we could all then rest assured 
have a happier 2023 💕
