The biggest party
when we’re all immune 


It’s one where we all get to hug
and kiss closely 
In all this pandemic 
It’s what we’ve  missed mostly 


To have a chat
to breath the same air
To openly laugh
Without a care


To meet up like
we did before
No more shielding 
Anymore


To go to a pub
And see it heaving
would take some imagination 
and believing 


Dancing and drinking
the night away
It’s something we did 
back in the day


Celebrating our freedom
and living again
We can only wish
and wait til then


A whole year missing
from all of our lives
It’s just me daydreaming 
I do that sometimes!
