who has been denied a choice
It seems the thugs  from the BBC
Have a louder voice


Betty would rather spend her cash
On things  that give her pleasure
Instead she has to hand it over -
she’s received a threatening letter😡


Is this what the BBC has sunk to?
Making the elderly part with their savings
Turkey and Tinsel  has now been cancelled,
to boost the BBC’s ratings


They’ve taken Betty’s  money
To prop up Gary Lineker
To waffle on about football
with a packet of salt and vinegar 


It’s just another blow for Betty
the T.V. licence put paid to that
But, at least she can still watch Gary   
In her freezing high rise flat
