Driving past Port Talbot
the steel works based In Neath
a lifeline for all the locals
which very rarely sleeps

That awe inspiring skyline 
those licking flames and sparks 
like an angry crazy dragon
though close to all our hearts

It's going to be dismantled 
never to make any steel again
which is catastrophic news
for the loyal hard-working men

Pride respect and livelihood
for many far and wide 
you have to be a Welsh man
it's hard how to describe

The passion which it stirs
the skyline it caressed 
that incredible proud Welsh dragon
will take its very last breath
