It’s time to keep an eye out,
for unwanted guests appearing
it’s spider-bonking season
now chilly nights are nearing

They creep in uninvited
then sprint across the floor
sit up in the bathtub
I can’t take it anymore 🙀

I have a spider phobia 
since I was very young
I'd go around checking corners
before a spider's web had spun

Are you a humanitarian 
or do you whack em with a slipper 
whichever way you deal with them
act fast - they’re getting bigger!

Shut and seal your windows
paint all walls brilliant white
at least you’ll see them coming 
and it won’t be such a fright

They're clever things these spiders
they make incredible webs
maybe we should appreciate them 
and let them live instead
