I’m feeling a definite spring in my step
I know it’s still early days
but this morning when the fog had lifted
It revealed a springlike haze

I know you’ll think I’m deluded
and okay you’re probably right
but I stand by to what I saw
after that ‘wolf moon’ appeared last night

You could have been anywhere in Africa 
Or even the  Sahara desert
that moon was just surreal 
It was huge and luminescent 

The shoots are poking out of pots
the snowdrops are nearly showing
It’s amazing how they still appear
albeit raining  frost or snowing

Whatever the magic I’m glad it does
as we all wait in anticipation 
for the crocuses and snowdrops to appear 
making a wonderful combination
